Dr. Seamus Duffy
MB BCh BAO LRCPSI (Hons) BComm (Hons) DCH DRCOG Dip Derm PGDipHPE MICGP FRACGP
Dr. Seamus is originally from Co. Monaghan and graduated from RCSI in 2005. He completed his GP Training in 2010. He has local and overseas experience having worked in Sydney, Australia for 6 years. He holds additional qualifications in child health, obstetrics & gynaecology, dermatology and medical education.
Dr. Seamus is a passionate generalist and loves the broad spectrum of challenges a day in general practice brings. Area’s of interest include mental health, men’s health and sexual health. He emphases preventive care and health education as paramount to healthy living.
He enjoys the challenge of keeping up to date with the breadth of knowledge required for general practice and above all values the ongoing relationships he develops with his patients.
Dr. Seamus is an experienced medical educator. He is a GP Trainer for the TCD General Practice Training Program with responsibility for the education and guidance of GP Registrar’s in the final stages of their post graduate training. Dr. Seamus is currently an Examiner with the The Irish College of GP’s. Dr. Seamus is a founding partner of Eldon, since it’s inception in 2019.
Outside of work, Dr. Seamus enjoys spending time with friends and family and being beaten at tennis on a regular basis.
Dr. Jane Uygur
MD CCFP MClSc
Dr. Jane was born and educated in Canada. She completed her medical degree at McMaster University and trained in Family Medicine at McGill University in Montreal. She did some additional training in obstetrics, gynaecology, and geriatrics in New Zealand before returning to Canada to complete a “Care of the Elderly” fellowship in her hometown of Ottawa.
Dr. Jane has many years of clinical experience working in several different settings, both urban and rural. She loves working with people of all ages and is skilled at managing medical problems from childhood through to the later years. Her additional training in “Care of the Elderly” has also provided her with an in-depth understanding of health issues specific to this time of life.
Dr. Jane feels that a good patient-doctor relationship is fundamental to providing excellent healthcare. This is a key concept that she passes on to the medical students that she teaches at RCSI & TCD. Her interest in this area has lead her to research how physicians can best provide compassionate care to their patients. Dr. Jane is a founding partner of Eldon, since it’s inception in 2019.
Dr. Jane’s Irish husband brought her to Dublin in 2006 and she loves her chosen home. When she isn’t busy working or spending time with friends and family, she practices yoga and Buddhism, and does some running and weight training.
Dr. Barbara Duffy

Dr. Barbara is currently on maternity leave and will return to us on August 17th 2026.
Dr. Barbara is originally from Cork and graduated in Medicine from University College Cork in 2016. She completed her General Practice training with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in July 2023 and has a special interest in Women’s Health. She completed basic training in Adult Medicine and membership of the Royal College of Physicians Ireland prior to beginning training in General Practice. She also worked as a clinical lecturer in the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and completed a certificate in Medical Education in the University of Edinburgh.
Dr. Barbara has gained experience in various hospital specialities including Adult Medicine, Medicine for the Elderly, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Addiction Psychiatry. She enjoys the variety in general practice from the management of chronic diseases to mental health, women’s health and paediatrics. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is focussed on providing compassionate and holistic healthcare.
When not in work she can be found at the park or the beach with her family and dog. She enjoys pilates, painting and gardening.
Dr. Conor Mulvin
BSc (Hons) MSc (Hons) MB BCh BAO LRCPSI (Hons) MICGP
Dr. Conor is originally from Dublin and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2020. He completed his GP training with the South East Scheme in 2025. Prior to medicine, Dr. Conor graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) with degrees in both health and performance science and physiotherapy. He has over ten years experience working with patients and during this time has enjoyed developing his communication skills and patient relationships.
Dr. Conor has a keen interest in areas such as men’s health, preventative medicine, emergency medicine, musculoskeletal medicine and palliative care. He is trained to perform joint injections and cryosurgery. Dr. Conor also has an interest in medical education and research. He was awarded the research and scholarship award in 2025 from the South East GP training unit for his work in pre-hospital emergency care.
Outside of work, Dr. Conor can usually be found outdoors. He enjoys staying active with running, cycling and sea swimming. To wind down he enjoys cooking, music and frequent sauna sessions.
Dr Ellen Sweeney
MB BCh BAO MSc DTM&H MICGP
Dr Ellen is originally from Co. Kildare. She received her medical degree from Trinity College Dublin in 2017. Since graduating she has completed a Masters in Global Health from Maastricht University, and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from Glasgow University. She has worked in Cork, Dublin, Sligo and Uganda across a wide variety of specialties including psychiatry, infectious diseases, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine and paediatrics. Dr Ellen completed her GP training with the Sligo Scheme in 2025.
Dr. Ellen’s professional interests encompass women’s health, health promotion, global health, and inclusion health. She values the variety and challenges that come with working in General Practice, where no two days are the same. Committed to providing personalised and compassionate care, she strives to build collaborative and trusting relationships with her patients.
Outside of work Dr Ellen enjoys running, gardening, learning new languages and spending time outdoors in nature.
Dr Abdelrahman Baroud
MBBS
Dr. Abdelrahman (Aboud) graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Shendi University, Sudan, in 2018. Originally from Gaza, Palestine, he has lived in Ireland for several years and is proud to be continuing his medical training with Trinity College Dublin GP Training Scheme. Prior to joining Eldon Family Practice, he gained extensive experience working in Dublin's main hospitals across a broad range of specialties including emergency medicine, general medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, palliative care, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and general surgery.
Dr. Aboud enjoys the variety and continuity of care that General Practice offers and values the opportunity to support patients through all stages of life. His professional interests include lifestyle medicine, mental health and minor surgery. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and to building strong, lasting relationships with his patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Aboud enjoys fitness, spending time with his two cats, and mentoring medical students and junior doctors.
